Currently you don't need to make any switch from cPanel to php 8.1!
We recommend that you first check if your theme is for wordpress or for your favorite CMS, is currently compatible with php 8.1, otherwise we do not recommend switching to php 8.1, but for this we ask you to inform yourself on the relevant websites where you purchased the theme or plugin.
Our indication of the best time to switch to PHP 8.1 is approximately between June 2023 and September 2023 and we recommend the following before making the switch:
1. Check that the theme you are using for your CMS is compatible.
2. Check that any plugins, modules or scripts you run for your website are properly written for php 8.1
3. It is possible that some files require "manual" modifications, usually these steps are described by the developers of themes and/or plugins of the CMS you are using.
