Cookies, which are simple text files, contain essential information for you to use our website, the part of the orders, the part of your online management, which are essentially necessary or cookie files are stored:

- to register for our newsletter (optional and is used only if the user is registered on his own initiative)
Our cookies are used solely for essential functions for which the site and the billing management system of our customers (4host customer area), where only the sessions are recorded during the user’s visit (even anonymous) and which are then used in the case of purchase and use of one or more services to maintain the secrecy necessary for the user to browse the 4host.ch website for the entire duration of the visit. Under no circumstances are any of our cookies used for webmarketing campaigns or statistical tracking of the visitor, only essential cookies are used for navigability, purchase and provision of services on 4host.ch.
The customer is solely responsible for security, for the data he publishes online and for the use of the applications he uses with 4host.
For our part, we are committed to ensuring the safety of our infrastructures, in particular through a safety policy that meets the needs of various regulations.

The data we process is strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties.
As per the new nLPD regulations of 1 September 2023, 4host keeps a register and log of the accesses of registered users (anonymous and fraudulent users are not treated by 4host) and who are still active. Customers who are no longer active or customers for whom the account has been closed, the person can always write to us at and request cancellation if we still need to keep/keep their data (purely to maintain our customer history for the 4host’s internal accounting which is not only paper-based but also digital) and in any case ensuring that this data cannot be “stolen” or in any way “violated”, given the high security of our IT infrastructures.
Only information on domain names, customer emails for accessing third-party applications can be shared:

That is, the domain name, the name of the hosting package, the name of the hosting user and the various hash keys for identification and access to these applications are shared solely for functional purposes.
The user through the customer area can choose to use the Single Sign On to access the cPanel shortcuts, but can also freely keep them disabled.
We share the user’s personal data for the registration of domain names with Realtimeregister even in the case of whois privacy (or whois protection).
For some domain names, registration with the real holder is required. Please contact us for more information as we deal with more than 400 domain names and the conditions for a single extension can change suddenly and we are not allowed to know or write data policy rules in real time, but we can gladly guide you before ‘purchase.
