Dear Customer,
We have made significant security improvements to all our infrastructure and servers, partially rebuilding and redefining some permissions for database access and data access across all servers.
Important: We have definitively solved the temporary problem (after updates to the cpanel) which during the morning prevented access to the webmail and therefore to the roundcube for webmail access to your email inbox.
Very important: For PHP version changes, if you need to switch from one PHP version to another, you may open a ticket at supporto@4host.ch. We will gladly take charge of the change, which for technical and security reasons will be carried out by us internally until the possibility of being able to modify it independently is available again within the cpanel. For now, for security reasons, this possibility will be excluded until further notice.
Some older accounts may require a reset for their military-grade hash keys, especially for phpmyadmin access, which may require our intervention following our hack.
If phpmyadmin or mysql are not properly accessible from the Hosting Control Panel > cPanel > phpmyadmin, please report the inability to manage your database via phpmyadmin to supporto@4host.ch .
Finally, please also report any issues with Roundcube (webmail, so to speak) should they arise, always reporting them to the emails listed below (preferably priority emails).
